IS A MEET AND GREET REQUIRED?

Yes, a meet and greet is required before all first-time boarding stays, walks, and day care services. This allows us to ensure we are a good fit.

The initial meet and greet is complimentary for new clients.

Any additional meet and greets will be subject to a fee.

DO WE NEED PROOF OF VACCINATION?

Yes, proof of vaccination is required.

DO YOU ACCEPT AGGRESSIVE OR REACTIVE DOGS?

For the safety of all pets in my care, I do not accept dogs with a history of aggression.

WHY ARE FLEA AND TICK PREVENTIVES REQUIRED?

Fleas and ticks can cause illnesses, allergic reactions, and irritations for both pets and people. Some also carry diseases.

Fleas and ticks can be found anywhere outside, even in the grass. Preventive treatments help keep these pests away and provide peace of mind for both the pet owner and the caregiver.

Flea and tick preventives are mandatory. It is not optional.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?

In the event of an emergency, you will be contacted immediately. If urgent care is needed, your pet will be taken to the nearest veterinary clinic.

WILL I RECEIVE UPDATES DURING SERVICES?

Yes!

  • For walks and drop-in visits, you will receive an update after each visit, including photos and a map of where we went.

  • For boarding, you will receive 3 to 4 daily updates with photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and safe.

HOW OFTEN WILL MY DOG GET POTTY BREAKS?

Dogs receive four or more potty breaks per day, typically:

  • Morning

  • Afternoon

  • Mid-afternoon

  • Before bedtime

The length of the walks varies from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your dog's energy level. Low-energy dogs are always accommodated.

HOW ARE DOGS FED DURING BOARDING?

Dogs are fed in separate areas to prevent resource guarding and food aggression. This ensures that each dog can eat safely and comfortably.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR MY PET’S STAY?

Please bring the following:

  • Food

  • Treats

  • Leash and harness

  • Poop bags

  • Any medication

  • Crate (if applicable)

WHY DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN DOG FOOD?

It is the owner’s responsibility to provide their pet's food and treats.

Many dogs have allergies, sensitivities, or specific diets. Switching foods can cause stomach upset, so keeping them on their regular diet helps ensure a comfortable stay.

DO YOU USE CRATES?

Crates are only used as a safe and positive space for dogs and never used for punishment.

Owners are encouraged to provide their own crate to ensure proper sizing and comfort.

If you have any questions or concerns about crates, then we are happy to discuss them with you.

CAN I BRING TOYS FOR MY DOG?

Yes, toys are welcome.

However, if any signs of toy-related aggression or resource guarding occur, toys will be removed for the remainder of the stay to ensure the safety of all dogs.

WHO IS CARVER?

Carver is my dog, protector, and best friend. He is well-trained and gets along with dogs, cats, and children.

If you are booking boarding services, your dog will need to meet Carver beforehand to ensure a safe and positive experience for both.

If you would like Carver to join us for walks, then he would be more than happy to come along!
